Kelly Latimer (@kellylatimer) is back with wt+ again! This time, Kelly shares with us some tips on how to pack your luggage for you and your kid when you head off for your winter wonderland holidays this travelling season!
#Tip 1 Baby Burrito
The worse thing that could ever possibly happen when you’re travelling overseas is having an extremely full and disorganised luggage. Trust us, you’ll never want that especially when you’re travelling with a kid. Kelly here knows exactly the way to fold and pack your baby’s onesies. A baby burrito!
Tip #2 Multi-Plug Travel Adapter
Travelling to all the different countries this holiday season means being far away from home and that oh so familiar 3 point plug. Pretty sure you wouldn’t want to get a different plug for each country you’ll be travelling to. Kelly has a tip for you! Find a multi-plug travel adapter instead, and make sure to get those with USB charges in-built. Trust us, they will come in handy especially when you need to charge your tablets and phones for your little ones!
Tip #3 Compartment Bags
When you urgently need your baby’s bomber jacket but you end up pulling out from the luggage daddy’s boxers? Don’t worry, we have a solution for you! Store everything in compartment bags so that you can get what you need to when you need to. The best part of this tip, the compartment bags double up as really awesome laundry bags.
Tip #4 Back To Basics
Thinking about what shoes to bring when travelling? Go back to the basic black, it’s the best because it is easy to match. Don’t forget, the fewer shoes you bring, the more you can buy!
Tip #5 Travel-Friendly Toys
Long flights when you have kids is hard work and you definitely would need to bring some entertainment for your kids. If you’re not a fan of iPads, don’t worry, just bring along a few toys that are small enough to fit into your handbags. Make sure they are non-destructive and won’t make a mess. Don’t you dare forget to bring their favourite toys!
Tip #6 Bring A Bag That Matches Every Outfit
Never, ever forget your handbag! Make sure it matches all the different outfits for your holiday wardrobe. Bring along a small clutch that matches and fits in the bag so it can be used as a bag organiser. Put in all the snacks, wet wipes and you’re all ready for your long awaited holiday! Bon Voyage Mama!
