1) What was the best thing that came out of participating in Sing! China?
Opportunity.
2) Do you think Singapore has talent for the global stage?
No doubt. The performing arts scene here has been bubbling under the surface of Singapore for awhile now. We’ve recently been seeing the fruits of many people’s labour, and it’s only a matter of time until the world sees them too.
3) Congratulations on the success of “The Great Wall”! Now that that’s done, what’s next?
Finishing up music in China and planning for the year ahead!
4) Have you been bitten by the musical bug? Or would you rather stick to your music?
I’ve always loved doing theatre. It’s a huge thrill for me because I feel so vulnerable and out of my depth in that environment. It’s also such a change of pace from the usual grind. The Great Wall: One Woman’s Journey was my third musical, and definitely not my last. But for now, it’s back to the music, where I am most comfortable.
5) Describe your relationship with music in 140 characters.

6) Pick one: Scarves or vests?
Scarves. They double up as blankets, headgear, waistbands, mic stand accessories, sling bags and picnic mats. A vest is just a fancy singlet with buttons.
