1. What is the best part of being a fashion stylist, and the worst?
Best part: I get to dress people up! (It’s a kind of a satisfaction I get when I see how someone’s vibe and appearance can change, also for them to realize that they can actually dress well! (like the way I did for them). Many people are not entirely receptive of trying out new styles and are afraid that they won’t look good. So whenever the opportunity arrives, I feel that it’s a good way for me to prove that there’s no harm trying out new styles.
Worst part: I’m sure it’s no earth shattering surprise, but a group of fickle-minded people can potentially cause some delays during shoot/filming progress but I’m glad that doesn’t happen that often with the people I’ve worked with so far!
And also, perhaps a brief that might present a clash to my own personal style?
2. Who’s the best and worse person you’ve had to style?
I would say the people that can carry a different attitude as I style them differently appeals to me the most.
Not nice to say worse person right? I don’t believe in anyone being the “worse person” but I do remember the clothes I’ve sourced for the shoot doesn’t fit the subject properly and more often than not, bigger sized clothes sometimes isn’t that flattering and stylish.
3. What’s your best takeaway from this campaign?
Working alongside Keith of course! I was really happy to see how all the outfits present a different look and yet, a coherent vibe that looks good as a whole despite us sourcing individually. The fact that everyone was so fun to work with made it really easy too!
4. If you are not a fashion stylist, what would you want to do?
I’d be a commercial talent, hopefully for a long time if there’s enough jobs given HAHAHA.
Or try acting, MAYBE?
5. Describe Keith in a sentence.
Keith is talented and also, ever-giving and extremely humorous.
6. Pick one: Hats or watches?
I’d want both but watches for everyday and hats for some days.
