1. How was the experience like for you being in our campaign?
It was my first time doing photo shoot with such a big group of people. In the midst of the photo shoot, I was able to talk to people who are experienced in their area of expertise. It was really an eye opening experience and fun!
2. Your dreadlocks really caught our attention, what’s hairstyle are you going to try next?
I guess I will keep these dreadlocks for a while. I really like them a lot. I tried many hairstyles before and my previous trademark hair was half blonde and half black (vertically, not horizontally). So next, I might potentially go for a full blonde edgy pixel cut or a short bob.
3. Being a fashion student, what inspired you to pursue music?
Even before I was a fashion student, I’ve always love fashion and music. But I used to think that doing music for a career/living is out of my league. With a practical mind-set, I went for fashion (though it’s still difficult but it’s definite that I can work for someone).
And now, I came to realize that I have more passion when it comes to music.
4. Fashion or Music, which one would you pursue?
I will say both, but I will put music first. Fashion will be my side-line job which I can let my creativity run wild and doing it at my own time. After working in fashion industry for a while, I realized that I like doing things my own way, especially when it comes to designing. My style is not the norm and I like things that are different. Music is my source of expression. I want to bring something new to the table and bring people into my world. That applies for both fashion and music.
5. Name one local musician you’d like to collaborate with.
Sandra from The Sam Willows! Man, I just love everything about her. I love her style and character. It’s gonna be so fun if there’s a chance to collaborate with her.
6. Pick one: Leather jacket or leather boots
That’s a tough choice. I guess I’ll pick leather boots. I can always do without a jacket and flaunt my tattoos. Haha.
